Born in Washington D.C. Shauney grew up around music thanks to the early support of her mother and father who was a founding member of the R&B group The Delfonics. At the Duke Ellington School of Arts she studied various styles of drumming as jazz, big band, gospel and R&B. During college she started touring with artists such as Salt N' Pepa, Cree Summer, Paulina Rubio among many others. Currently Shauney is touring with Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas. She also played drums for multi platinum recording artist Hilary Duff as well as she toured with Nicole Scherzinger of the band Pussycat Dolls.
